The Import & Export Compliance Officer will work as part of the Commercial Department providing support to all the business units within the Command and Control Systems business. Working closely with Project teams, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Quality and Goods Despatch, the Import & Export Compliance Officer will act as resident expert on, and be responsible for, all import and export matters in accordance with national and international regulations.

Experience Required:

. Import and Export matters i.a.w. HMRC and UK Export Controls

. US EAR and ITAR Export Control

. Export licencing

. Customs Import Clearances and Processing Reliefs

. Business information systems

. Experience in the management of importing and exporting defence related goods and services.

. Track record in successful applications for export licencing and controls using governmental business systems.

. Track record in leading internal and external audits from relevant authorities.
