IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Lead Implementation capability within Global Integration Service which comprises planning and the overall co-ordination of all implementation activities.
- Create and maintain best practices for various implementation scenarios and communicate them to local implementation teams
- Establish and maintain channels with Group and Regional PMO organisations for information sharing, planning and project execution related purposes
- Together with service team plan Global Integration Service releases and coordinate release implementation within service capabilities and with the connected systems; be a focal point of contact for release management within the service
- Supporting Demand managers in sell-in, including building a proposal, implementation effort, cost and timeline estimates
- Coordinating request assessment sessions with Global Integration Service capabilities - Architecture, Implementation, Operations and Support. Involving external teams if required (ex. delivery/architecture teams from other domains)
- Supporting local implementation teams with project management expertise, business process and IT expertise and with issue resolution
- Responsibilities include capture and analysis of business requirements and match the integration services with the business needs and processes
- Capacity planning and implementation activities coordination internally within Global Integration Service/externally (when requested)
- Close collaboration with local project leaders - ensure implementation governance from Global Integration Service side
- Work with Architect, Solution Architects, coordinate the development team (global supplier), through the design, development and test phases.
- Plan deployment, a process that can vary immensely in scope and includes reviews at key interim milestones
- Cost control of implementations, including cost transparency when delivery is performed by local or third party teams
- Leading integration projects, coordinating testing activities
- Support Demand Managers in driving piloting activities, know-how transfer to our clients business units and search for new, innovative solutions to solve real-world problems are further key activities
- Communication to stakeholders, including news, announcements and metrics reporting
- Conducting post implementation reviews together with Demand Managers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Fluent spoken and written English
- Bachelor/Master degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
- Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
- Good project management skills preferably within IT and business process management
- Good knowledge of SAP processes within SD, MM, FI and other modules
- Knowledge on SAP customization and SAP Basis
- General understanding of BizTalk Server features, such as Routing, Orchestrations and connectivity options
- General understanding of business processes

ADDITIONAL EXTRAORDINARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Further development of implementation model and procedures, documentation and best practices
- Ensure use case delivery, support use case development where required
- Ensure availability of requirements specifications before submitting the request for development
- Support or lead (when required) application integration testing
- Provide regular progress reports, risk assessments, planning input and so on to Service Manager
- Ensure delivery of operational and support requirements and documentation and handover of solution to operations
- Other tasks as assigned
