Implementation and Integration of MAC Layer Functions Within the LTE Stack Development

TASK:

1. development of LTE MAC functions
    - completing existing MAC functionality (LTE Rel-8/9/10)
      with missing features
    - analysis and design of new LTE MAC features
    - implementation is done based on an existing C++ framework
    - implementation includes documentation, unit tests and reviews
      within the team and with stakeholders

2. integration and test of MAC for LTE
    - integration of MAC functions with internal and customer equipment
    - implementation of peer functionality for testing purposes
    - implementation of integration scenarios (full stack environment)

3. issue analysis and support
    - deep analysis of protocol stack logs containing internal
      or customer issues
    - bugfixing of MAC issues

SKILLS:

Required Skills
- excellent C and C++ practice and software design skills
- very good understanding and implementation experience of MAC for LTE
- good understanding of further LTE layers, especially RLC and PHY
- experience in system integration in a mobile communication context
- experience in performance-oriented programming
