Imaging Architect

IMAGING ARCHITECT/6 MONTH CONTRACT/ZURICH, SWITZERLAND/600 - 650 CHF PER DAY

My client, a global IT services company, is seeking an Imaging Architect for a large project to be based onsite with their customer, one of the largest engineering companies in the world.

Requirements:Overall 6 to 10 years IT experience in Desktop related Services

Good experience in Desktop migration life cycle from Hardware inventory techniques and tools, Image creation and management and desktop deployment

Should be capable of analysing a SOE Image and certify the image is compliant to standard security policies and best practices

Good experience in deployment tools deploying OS

Well versed with MDT ImageX, DISM, USMT, etc.,

Very good Communication and Presentation skills

Good documentation skills, and strong analytical, problem-solving skills are essential

Quick learner and result oriented

Technologies; Windows 7, SCCM/Altiris/Marimba/OVCM, MDT, BitLocker, BranchCache, DirectAccess, VDI, MDOP

Desirable to have the Knowledge and exposure to Casper and VMware Mirage

Skills:

- Windows 7 - Installation, configuration of new features & troubleshooting
- Image management Tools - ImageX, DISM etc,
- AD Group Policies, Networking, should be capable of reviewing Widows 7 SOE against group policies and windows security policies
- MDT, SCCM
- Task sequencing for zero touch deployment
- Windows 7 Migration Experience, USMT, Direct Access, Branch Cache
- Desktop Virtualization technologies (VDI, Xen Desktop, Hyper-V)
