Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit an ILS Engineer for a contract role on behalf of a client.

The Client:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

The Job:
The purpose of the ILS Engineer role is to prepare service modification schedules, a detailed set of instructions that include the following:
How to modify equipment in the field.
Installation set up and test.
Details of the installation items (Mod Kit contents), spares/consumables and S&TE required.
Maintenance instructions.
Operating instructions.

Key Responsibility Areas
The successful ILS Engineer candidate will be responsible for the following:
Undertake Ease of Modification/Installation/Maintenance Assessments to determine at which ES line modification/installation or maintenance should take place.
Ranging and scaling of spares & S from drawings etc., identify item suppliers and determine their obsolescence status.
Preparation and submission of Support Engineering/ILS reports to the CV UK CVR(T) ESM.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge
The successful ILS Engineer candidate must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to interpret Engineering Drawings and Bills Of Materials, and liaise with Engineers, shop floor (Operations) staff and suppliers.
