IIS Developers & Java Developers

We are now seeking three IIS (Internet Information Services) Developers and two Java Developers to join us on a contract basis starting as soon as possible on a contract basis for approximately three to six months in length.

In this position you will be responsible for providing estimates in response to work requests, preparing technical design documents in response to client requirements, ensuring technical development assumptions, dependencies, risks and issues are raised and maintained for projects and work requests, reviewing all project technical documentation, reviewing and approving for build of use cases, creating and reviewing unit test cases, developing solutions in accordance to the project and work requests, developing appropriate unit tests, execute unit tests and provide evidence, ensuring quality, development and coding standards are maintained, ensuring that the design of applications is suitable for the requested changes, maintaining and developing application roadmaps, providing second and third line support, performing peer and code reviews, performing and recommending improvements on the existing codebase.

To be successful in this role you will be an accomplished and experienced Java OR IIS Developer. Experience of building web applications and superior technical skills are essential as well as generally good communication and interpersonal skills. Due to the urgent nature of this contract we are only in a position to consider candidates with immediate availability.

Based in Reading town centre. Daily rate circa £390 per day for IIS Developers and £470 per day for Java Developers. Remote working is not a possibility for this contract, the successful contractor will be required to attend site full time.
