Position: IFS TECHNICAL CONSULTANT
Location: OSLO OR KRISTIANSAND, NORWAY (PREFERRED) OR ANYWHERE IN EUROPE WHO CAN TRAVEL
Duration: 4 MONTHS CONTRACT + POSSIBLE EXTENSION
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: €400 TO €500 PER DAY
Job Role: DATA EXTRACTION & TRANSFORMATION
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Strong knowledge of IFS Applications' Layered Application Architecture (LAA) and technology including the database, file structures etc.
- Knowledge of the following modules to the extent of data models and integration technologies used to extract data out of IFS applications is necessary
- IFS Financials
- IFS Human Resources
- IFS Engineering
- IFS Projects
- IFS Manufacturing
- IFS Supply Chain
- IFS Sales & Service
- IFS Maintenance
- IFS Business Enablers
- Strong experience in extracting and translating data from IFS to meet the requirements of Client Smart Templates
- Ability to understand and adapt to the dynamic project requirements and needs and modify the extraction and/or transformation logic quickly
- Ability to provide reporting from IFS, of the data to be extracted so it can be used in conjunction with Oracle Reports for validating data conversion
- Ability to work global time zones if needed
- Strong communication skills in English are a must, ability to converse in Norwegian is a plus
- Ability to work with offsite team and onsite/nearshore business team is critical
