SENIOR TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced AUTOMATION TEST ENGINEER to join one of their clients, a well renowned Swiss financial service organisation. For this contract engagement, we are seeking a German speaker who is immediately available.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
In this role you will be responsible for the automated functional and non-functional testing of the application. To be successful in this role, you should have strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, specify and execute system and system integration tests (functional and non-functional)
- Create and maintain test data for automated tests
- Contribute to continuous improvements of the test process and environment
- Setup and maintain the test environments: installation and configuration of applications, monitoring
- Maintain and use test automation and performance tools
- Participate in reviews of requirements, architecture documents, and application guides
- Raise and manage defects and regularly report on test results
- General expectation of coaching in-house testers
YOUR PROFILE:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in Automation testing
- Proven experience in functional testing of software systems
- University degree or higher education (UNI, Fachhochschule, Master) in any technical discipline
- Skilled in Agile development/test projects
- Experience in automated deployment
- Proficient in HPQC (Requirements, test plan, test lab, defect handling, reporting)
- Skilled in Unix/Linux operating systems and tools
- ISTQB Certified
- Dynamic and flexible
- German & English - Fluent level
LOCATION: Zurich
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 6 months contract with possible extension
