ICT Teacher

Simply Education are currently working in partnership with a large secondary school in South Buckinghamshire who are seeking a ICT Teacher to start with them from September 2014. It has not been finalised whether this is a permanent or a long term contract.

The School has been established for many years and runs on traditional educational values. It is a improving school with around about 800 students. The IT department is newly refurbished with up to date technology and computers, allowing the students to have the best advantage at their hands.

They are looking for an inspirational, enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated individual to work within the Faculty. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will also have effective teaching skills. You will be expected to teach across the full age range and across all key stages.

As the successful ICT Teacher you will need to;
- Be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
- Have the ability and experience of teaching GICT to KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
- Possess the passion to teach ICT in education
