ICT Master Scheduler - 6 Month Contract - Parramatta (S17)

MASTER SCHEDULER - MS PROJECT - ICT PROGRAM OF WORK

My based client is a large government organization currently looking for a MASTER ICT SCHEDULER to join their highly respected team.

The ICT Scheduler is to be an active member of tightly coordinated specialist scheduling team. Support project management staff in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of schedules developed within Primavera and MS Project.

This position is initially a 6 month engagement based in Parramatta.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

-Developing and owning the detailed program schedule that clearly articulates all program tasks, task owners, task dependencies, durations, key milestones, all key deliverables and due dates.
-Developing a detailed 'decision timeline' that articulates key program decisions, decision owners and analyses the impact of decision outcomes
-Working with all vendors to translate Microsoft Project Plans into Primavera
-Manage the Primavera Interface with the financial reporting systems
-Tracking the status of all program tasks incorporated in the project schedule and identifying actions required to address tasks that have fallen behind schedule.
-Produce weekly/monthly progress curves using a recognised methodology eg EVA
-Producing weekly project status report.
-Producing monthly project status reports as required for Executive Management.
-Maintaining the program risk register.
-Maintaining the program issues register.
-Maintaining the program change request register in conjunction with the various Project Managers
-Maintaining the project document register in conjunction with the various Project Managers
-Participating in project team meetings. Member of the program leadership team
-Working with the Program Director to prepare monthly project Steering Committee presentations.

THE MASTER SCHEDULER WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE;

-5 years minimum Microsoft Project experience essential
-Experience with PMBOK/Prince 2 project management methodology (or similar)
-5-7 years large-scale IT project experience in a planning/scheduler role
