An exciting opportunity has arisen for a student or graduate from an ICT degree who has a good understanding of ICT infrastructure and support, who is looking to make their first steps into the ICT world. Working for a large global manufacturing company, you will be given the opportunity of learning as you work.
What will you be doing:
Whilst on this 10 week placement opportunity, you will be involved in:
1st line help desk support
Hardware and software installation/maintenance
Active directory (creating users/resetting passwords/assigning permissions etc)
VOIP Phone system
Daily backing up of servers
ICT in the manufacturing environment
Essential Requirements :
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written, have the ability to prioritise calls and meet deadlines, be able to work alone and as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements :
Knowledge of VOIP phone systems, Citrix, Windows Server, Microsoft AX, Microsoft Exchange
