IC Validation Expert

ASIC SoC validation expert with a very strong systems level knowledge of IC architectures mixed signal, digital and analogue IC interfaces. €70 TO €80 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON THE LEVEL OF RELEVANT SKILLS.

Along with a strong IC systems knowledge, almost architect level, you will need a comprehensive background in creating validation strategies, related approaches to test automation and improving the validation environment and EDA tools.

An initial 16 month contract assignment with semiconductor vendor within the healthcare sector. Very likely to extend for good performers.

TASKS INCLUDE:

- You will be responsible for the definition, implementation and execution of the validation strategy of the system-on-chip in close cooperation with the IC- & SW- Architect and the product engineer in order to ensure that the products are:
- Performing according to the specifications
- Operating within regulations/standards
- Delivered with the right quality.
- Translate the system/module specification into an adequate Validation plan that meets the targeted Validation coverage.
- Define/improve the validation environment and infrastructure for either EDA Tools, Hardware (PCB's), Software (Scripts) and Equipment.
- You will be technically responsible for a qualitative implementation of the required test cases, from module level up to use case level.
- You report to the IC Architect and Project Manager on the progress with an agreed frequency.
