IBM Application Developer (Multi Carrier Systems Project) Job

IBM APPLICATION DEVELOPER (MULTI CARRIER SYSTEMS (MCS) APPLICATIONS) needed for a TWO (2) YEARS CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in PLANO, TEXAS.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- IBM Mainframe platform, MVS operating system, TSO/ISPF
- Cobol, JCL, Assembler, VSAM experience

What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the Multi Carrier Systems (MCS)
- The developer will provide APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT TO THE MCS Part B claims processing system.
- Develop TECHNICAL DESIGNS FOR REQUIRED SYSTEMS CHANGES
- Code and test Change Requests in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the MULTI CARRIER SYSTEMS (MCS) environment using the MULTI CARRIER SYSTEMS (MCS) release process
- Support system Testing. Coordinate or attend appropriate work product reviews with the customers, BAs, and other developers
- Work collaboratively with technicians, business analysts and project manager to produce quality changes within specified delivery timeframes

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Skilled in IBM MAINFRAME PLATFORM, MVS OPERATING SYSTEM, TSO/ISPF
- FIVE (5) OR MORE YEARS WITH RECENT EXPERIENCE IN COBOL, JCL, ASSEMBLER, VSAM
- Demonstrated ability to work with REMOTE DATA CENTERS IN EXECUTING CYCLES
- FAMILIARITY WITH NETWORK DATA MOVER
- Established knowledge in HEALTHCARE CLAIMS PROCESSING SYSTEM SUPPORT A PLUS
- Systems Development Methodology knowledge/experience (eg, SLC, CMMI)

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare and preferably Medicare claims processing experience.
- MCS knowledge or other health care processing system knowledge is highly desirable.
