IA/Certification and Accreditation Analyst - Secret Clearance

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an INFORMATION ASSURANCE/CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION ANALYST to join our client in San Diego, California.

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as SME for all related Certification and Accreditation (C&A) activities for NMCI COSC
- Lead and document meeting outcomes with external DOD customer and internal application developers, system administrators, architects, DBAs, IA engineers and Project/Program Management teams.
- Review, analyze and validate certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation packages for completeness and STIG compliance.
- Proactively identify potential IA security issues in order to capture and mitigate any issues.
- Provide technical write ups of validation findings to senior leaders, engineers and Project/program managers utilizing knowledge of IA, WAN/LAN technologies, Windows Active Directory, Exchange, HBSS, Antivirus, W2k8, WIN 7
- Analyze results of security testing tools to include vulnerability scanners, Wireshark, SRR, Retina, and ACAS.
- Translate C&A data from technical & engineering teams into gov't C&A repositories (eMASS/XACTA)
- Coordinate collaboration meetings between gov't, HP C without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience 5-7 years in total.
- Three to five (3-5) years of DIACAP C&A experience to include creation and validation of C&A package documents (DIP,SIP, scorecard & POAM),
- Understanding and application of NIST Risk Management Framework
- Review, analyze and validate certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation packages for completeness and STIG compliance utilizing knowledge of IA, WAN/LAN technologies, Windows Active Directory, Exchange, HBSS, Antivirus, W2k8, WIN 7
- Identify potential IA security issues and mitigate - in order to write residual risk determination documentation for gov't C
- Analyze results of security testing tools to include vulnerability scanners, Wireshark, SRR, Retina, and ACAS
- Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence. Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing.
- Highly self-motivated, can work both in team environment and independently.
- Ability to maintain a highest degree of honesty and professional integrity at all times.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills and ability to work non-standard hours.
