My client, a large independent operator, has openings for experienced Instrumentation & Automation Technicians for their Eagleford/South Texas operations. The client will provide a competitive relocation package. The I&A Technician is responsible for the installation and overall maintenance of instrumentation associated with the production and measurement of natural gas. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * HSEC Responsibilities. o Participate in safety meetings for employees and ensure compliance with safety manual and other industry safety standards. o Identify and report safety hazards, observe all safety requirements and actively strive to provide a safe work environment for company employees, customers, contractors and the public o Perform all duties in accordance with the client's Health, Safety and Environmental, standards, policies, and procedures. * Operational Responsibilities o Perform duties in accordance with all of the client's policies and guidelines o Install/troubleshoot/maintain telemetry at company facilities designated by the supervisor. o Perform assessments of company facilities to ensure compliance with industry and company O&M procedures and practices o Coordinate contract personnel. o Communicate and coordinate maintenance projects with production foremen and with field superintendents if necessary Any associate who drives a company or personal vehicle for Company business must possess a valid driver licenses and follow all guidelines that are outlined in the Company's Fleet Policy. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum Requirements: o Associates degree or equivalent work experience o Excel spreadsheet knowledge o Windows based environment skills including Internet Explorer. o Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts o Must be a team player as well as a goal-oriented individual who functions with the highest level of integrity and professionalism o Excellent organizational and time management skills o Effective verbal and written communication skills * Preferred: o Working knowledge of SCADA systems o Gas Measurement, and Operational background. o Experience in working with engineers and / or multi-disciplinary teams preferred o Strong health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance record preferred
