Hyperion Planning Essbase Developer

Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert for the development/implementation team for the Oracle EPM/Hyperion Financial Planning suite (the †suite†) including: set-up and configuration of the suite, and end user functionality and utilization of the suite, version 11.1.2.3.

Provide expert level support utilizing:
-Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Lifecycle Management Utility to migrate the application versions through various test environments into the final production and contingency environments.
-Hyperion Smart View for Office to integrate Hyperion forms and Essbase data with Excel.
-Hyperion Essbase
-Hyperion Financial Reports

Develop system documentation that meets the standards.
Plan and facilitate discussion with end users and other stakeholders to elicit detailed functional and operational requirements that support business requirements.
Translate business level requirements into detailed technical requirements that can be implemented and validated.
Develop system/integration test plans and scenarios for implementation of the suite.
Provide accurate time and effort estimates for the completion of milestones in the suite.
Compose function and regression test scripts for the implementation of the suite.
Execute Oracle system/integration test scenarios and work with other members of implementation/integration team to ensure issues and problems are identified, documented, and resolved.
Assist requirements verification test team, as requested, in isolating problems and working with implementation/integration team in resolving identified technical issues and problems.
Mentor and transfer technical knowledge for the suite to other team and department personnel, as requested, in a timely fashion.
Perform such other duties as shall reasonably request.

Requirements:
5+ years experience with the Oracle Hyperion suite of products.
Experience with Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Lifecycle Management Utility, Hyperion Smart View, Hyperion Essbase, and Hyperion Financial Reports.
Experience facilitating discussions with stakeholders, and gathering requirements from end users.
Ability to integrate the suite with internally developed components to formulate a complete solution that meets Bank approved requirements and standards.
Ability to set up and configure the suite according to Bank requirements.
Ability to migrate the suite through various test environments into the final production and contingency environments.
Knowledge and experience with Oracle OBIEE or Oracle ODI tool is preferred.
Ability to set up and configure the Oracle EPM/Hyperion Financial Planning suite (the suite) including set-up and configuration of the suite, and end user functionality and utilization of the suite is a plus.
