A well respected company based in central Croydon is looking for a Hyper-V Engineer to join their company on a contract basis. Initially a 6 month assignment, this role has the potential for numerous extensions for the right candidate performing well, and offers the opportunity to take part in a number of Wintel based projects.

The successful Hyper V Engineer will be involved primarily in the configuration and maintenance of the in-house virtualised environment, based on Hyper-V and VMWare, and will also contribute to the design and development or internal architecture where necessary.

The successful Hyper-V Engineer will need to have strong experience specifically with Hyper-V, but also other virtualisation technologies such as VMWare and Citrix. An understanding of ITIL frameworks is highly desirable, as is previous experience of administrating and configuring Sharepoint farms. MCSE level certification is preferred, but applications will be accepted from candidates with equivalent professional experience.
