Hydraulics Engineer

Yoh has a 12 plus month contract opportunity for a HYDRAULICS ENGINEER WITH FAA DER to join our client in Oklahoma City, OK.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Leads and provides technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems and thermal environment to establish the system design.
- Leads activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements. Leads the development, maintenance or modification of system components'' designs/proposals to provide installation and detail documentation.
- Performs and documents analyses. Manages supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
- Prioritizes, delegates and tracks performance and documentation of analyses of mechanisms/landing gear/ordnance components and systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design. Supports proposal preparation and new business development efforts.
- Trains and coaches others. Works under minimal direction.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline and 9 or more years' experience, Master's degree in engineering discipline with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- Hydraulics Engineer Must be an FAA DER with Chart C1 Mechanical System and Equipment Authorizations including Chart B1, B2, B4, B8, B9, F1, F2, F4, F8, F9, G1, G2, G4, G8, G9
