Human Resources Business Partner

HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER - CANARY WHARF BASED - 6 MONTH CONTRACT

A major Investment Bank is looking to recruit a Human Resources Business Partner to join the busy Human Resources team.

Key Skills required for a Human Resources Business Partner:

*Appropriate business education and HR qualification.
*Proven HR experience in a Senior HR environment.
*Experience of HR best practices in Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruitment, Compensation, Policy/Procedure Development, Centres of Excellence and Training and Development.
*Excellent relationship building skills
*Ability to analyse human capital data to identify business improvement opportunities.
*Experience of working with the Technology lines of business (desirable).
*Good exposure of Risk planning and delivering Risk change to various stakeholders.
*Proficient with MS Office, Peoplesoft and any other relevant HR technologies.

Responsibilities of a Human Resources Business Partner:

*Provide strategic HR counsel, coaching and consulting that enables managers to turn business strategy into business practice.
*Commissions HR initiatives with the Subject Matter Experts on strategy, process and policy development in areas including Recruiting, Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Reward and Recognition.
*Participate in HR governance bodies and HR policy creation.
*Create a solid relationship with client group leadership that supports a mutual coaching environment.
*Manage full compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
