HSEQ Advisor

Progressive Global Energy is working in partnership with an oil and gas exploration company with operations in the North Sea, Africa and theMiddle East.

With the acquisition of high quality assets in the North Sea, the company hope to double production within the next 5 years and consolidate its status as one of the world leaders in the operation at every stage of the oil and gas lifecycle, both offshore and onshore.

They wish to recruit an experienced and talented HSE Advisor to join the HSSE team in developing a new system framework which will support all HSSE activity. Ultimately this will deliver common and consistent HSSE process across the company.

Duties
* Responsible for giving advice, guidance to all employees within the organisation, also ensuring that members of the QHSE team are being coached and giving assistance when required.
* Ensure that work practices are being adhered to and monitor behavioural safety systems for trends.
* Conduct STOP audits and Stop any job if it appears unsafe, and ensure that risk assessments are reviewed and toolbox talks conducted.
* Ensure that operations offshore are operating in accordance with the company and clients policies by conducting frequent offshore audits.
* Responsible for the follow up of any corrective Actions or opportunities for improvement arising from Incident Investigations or internal audits.
* Lead and Participate in Incident Investigations and identify causal factors, root causes and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

NEBOSH General Certificate

ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

ISM Lead Auditor

ISO 14001 Auditor

Incident Investigation Team Leader (e.g. Tap Root, Topset etc)

Excellent knowledge in bothUKand Norwegian Health and Safety Legislation
