HSE Specialist, E&P Ops - ND

A company engaged in the acquisition, development and operation of oil and gas properties in North America is looking for a HSE Specialist to join the team. This E&P company has enjoyed tremendous growth and success to become the 5th largest operator in South Dakota, the 11th largest operator in North Dakota and the 25th largest operator in the Rocky Mountain Region. Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist The qualified candidate will be responsible for all field supervision, implementation, and reporting of health, safety, and environmental operations and compliance for the company's Northern Region assets. The role will be located in in the field in North Dakota and will be based out of the Tioga office. The candidate will work as part of the field operations team, working closely with all field supervisors and engineers. Qualifications: * 3+ years of related field experience in a similar or complementary role * Relevant certification and training to execute job responsibilities. * College degree is preferred, but not required depending on level of experience Duties Include: * Safety supervision and compliance for all field operations, including production, drilling, completion, and workover. * Recommendation and implementation of proposals and policies to ensure a healthy and efficient work environment * Monitoring and reporting of all required regulatory and environmental reports, including spills, pits, and emissions * Building and maintaining constructive working relationships with field-level regulatory representative, including conducting joint field inspections * Development, implementation, and maintenance of SPCC plans for all production operations * OSHA reporting * Update MSDS Sheets for each well
