HSE Manager - OSHA, NEBOSH, Risk Assessment

HSE manager required to develop, implement and monitor environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations. You will recommend corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist and have a significant customer interface.

Typical activities may include:

- Act as the regional HSE (Environment and Health Services) Manager for a specific geographical area
- Prepare audit plan (scope), conduct audit, prepare audit report, coordinate management review
- Perform incident investigations and issue resolution to minimize and mitigate the impact on the customer
- Provide management oversight to ensure processes are compliant
- Assist with the preparation and review of Risk Assessment and Hazard Management, Safe Work Plans and Emergency Response Plans
- Work on performance remediation plans for vendors with identified deficient HSE management systems/programs

You will have HSE risk assessment experience together with contractor assessment evaluation and audits. Experience in medium to high risk work environments (eg elevated, work, confined space, excavation and trenching). A solid understanding of general and site specific HSE regulatory compliance is a must together with good client facing skills. You will have experience of conducting HSE competency assessments and preferably have 5 plus years of HSE experience or national accreditation in HSE (eg Certified Safety Professional, ISHA or NEBOSH) in lieu of years of experience. A background in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
