HSE Advisor (Contract Until April 2015)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a pro-active and driven individual with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) experience within construction to enter an influential solar company with a large presence within the United Kingdom. Within this fast paced growing company the opportunity has arisen for a HSE Advisor contract role within Essex. This role would look to start ASAP with the view to complete in April 2015.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Ensure site is compliant with CPP
- Ensure site is compliant with Health and Safety Laws and regulations
- Facilitate a safe on-site construction working environment

Competencies and Experience

- Experience of conducting, creating and reviewing site risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
- Experience of with a HSE Advisory role within a construction setting (2 years +)
- Experienced or qualified within Working at Height
- Experienced or qualified within Lifting Operations
- Experience or qualified within Excavations
- Experience or knowledge within plant inspection
- Experience and knowledge of accident reporting, incident investigation (required) and route cause analysis (desirable)
- Firm knowledge, experience and qualified within ISO14001, ISO18001 & ISO9000
- Experience or qualified within HSE in Electrical Safety
- Construction or HSE qualification (required)
- Experience or knowledge within renewable energy HSE (desirable)
- NEBOSH qualified (desirable)
