HRIS Project Manager - London Market Insurance

£400 - 700/day Negotiable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Build strong productive relationships with the Project Board, Project team and staff within the Business and across IT and with external partners in order to ensure a co-ordinated and successful implementation of our chosen HRIS application.

. Conduct regular project reviews and updates to the Project Board to ensure that the project is implemented in an appropriate and constructive way, ensuring that HR and business needs are met.

. Work with the Board and Project Team to ensure the Organisational change is managed effectively, supporting delivery of the vendor selection projects Mission statement: 'To have a simple, intuitive HRIS solution that supports our strategic business plan and provides 'one version of the truth' - reducing the time spent on non added value tasks and enabling high quality human HR service where it matters.'

. Demonstrate control through production and management of Project Plans, Risk and Issue Logs and Budget summaries.

. Manage the production of project deliverables, such as implementation plans, budget summaries communication plans and to ensure consistency and clarity of brief between the stakeholders.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

IDEALLY, YOU WILL:

* Prior experience of Cloud Based HR Transformation is ESSENTIAL - PREFERABLY WORKDAY OR SUCCESSFACTORS

. have experienced working as a Project Manager in a Matrix organisation and managing a global project team and stakeholders who are also not located within the same geographical area

. be experienced in managing projects with Agile or iterative development methodologies.

. be experienced in working in the insurance sector .

. have had exposure to the full project life cycle, from inception to user acceptance testing and initial live running with the experience to use the correct level of control.

. have the ability to combine "soft" influencing, persuasion and consultancy skills with "leadership" qualities that will encourage business leaders to positively respond to questions, inquires and requests to meet deadlines.

. have the intellect and gravitas to influence and gain credibility with business personnel and management.

. excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business

. be highly results driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a very fast paced environment where the pace of response and leadership is critical to success
