HR Project Manager. £350-£420 per day. 6 months. Greater Manchester. A leading Public Sector outfit based in Greater Manchester requires a highly skilled HR Project Manager to support a large transformation programme that is currently on going. This role is for a minimum of 6 moths but could extend to 12 months for the right candidate.

The HR Transformation projects aims to reshape HR within the organisation. This will be achieved by designing a new HR operating model which takes account of the organisations current state of readiness and delivers both the cultural and behavioural changes required to make the new service successful.

In designing the model the project will;

* Review the current HR Operating Model and the Organisation's needs and design a model which delivers an efficient and effective HR Services which meets those needs
* Implement an effective service centre to support delivery of the new HR Service
* Review and redesign all current process to reduce duplication and minimise touch points with HR and the line management community
* Identify and implement an up-to-date HR System which communicates with other internal systems to reduce keying and implements employee self service
* The role is challenging and requires a high level of experience of HR models as they exist within both the public and private sector in order to develop a solution which meets the needs of the service.
* At the same time the successful candidate will have a good understanding of HR System requirements, integration and self-service and will have a track record of managing combined projects of this nature.
* Experience of managing and delivering change within both strategic and transactional HR functions. Recruitment and retention, strategy and policy, transactional HR and others
* Experience of developing efficient Support Services through a number of different approaches; such as behaviour change, end to end process reviews, reducing service demand through automated systems and self-service; reducing management tiers and; implementation of new delivery models
* Experience of developing proposals for and delivering business partnering arrangements or shared services for HR
Project Specific Requirements Business Support
* Experience of implementing shared service models for business support functions, such as design and print, Fleet maintenance, Facilities and facilities management, admin and others, in the public sector
* A strong commercial background and experience of implementing innovative service delivery models with both public and private sector partners
* Experience of developing efficient Support Services through a number of different approaches; such as behaviour change, end to end process reviews, reducing service demand through automated systems and self-service; reducing management tiers and; implementation of new delivery models
* Experience of developing proposals for and delivering business partnering arrangements and shared services for Support Services
