HR Programme Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Midlands for an interim HR Programme Manager to work for a major player in the Energy & Power sector.

Our client is an international brand with high ambitions and the resources to back those ambitions, they're looking for a highly experienced Programme Manager with in-depth HR Transitioning experience preferably with familiarity of international transitions, you will be managing a portfolio of Projects.

Key Activities:

* Managing a Matrix team of at least 10 people
* Secondment duration for 12 months to oversee critical start up phase of programme with expected duration of 2 years
* Circa £5M approximately total cost of delivery (capital and operational cost)
* Matrix management with regular face to face interface with the global programme team based in Berlin and other European locations
* Multiple work streams with complex stakeholders and dependencies
* Significant level of business travel required across Europe
* Influence leadership teams, work stream leaders and senior stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

* Proven capability in a significant programme leadership role with an ability to articulate a clear vision and objectives for others to align to
* Experience of scoping large/complex change projects which deliver transformational business change across Matrix organisations and geographical boundaries
* Knowledge of programme, project and PMO methodologies
* Experience of using MS Project or similar planning tool and experience of applied project management methodology eg Prince 2 or equivalent
* Comfortable working with ambiguity around who is accountable for specific activities
* Experience of liaising with multiple stakeholders in a variety of business areas and stakeholders of differing seniority with proven ability to build strong/effective relationships
