Job type: Contract (6 months Initially)
Skills: CIPD, HR, Experience in HRA role in heavy manufacturing industry
Location: Surrey easily commutable from Reading, Basingstoke, Frimley and with excellent access from Hampshire
Rate: £35.50 per hour LTD

OUTSOURCE UK LTD is actively seeking to recruit a HR Manager for a contract role on behalf of a client.

THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
The successful HR Manager candidate will be responsible for the following:
Understand and adopt business critical initiatives and the coordination/roll out of all such activities through stakeholder groups to ensure appropriate outcomes are defined, delivered and reviewed
Drive and support opportunities to improve business performance through building effective relationships, influencing and understanding (individuals, business need and organisational drivers)
Work with Senior Management teams to understand business requirements, challenges and investment levels to ensure HR practices, activity and involvement are adding value
Seek and identify opportunity for cost reduction and performance improvement
Work as part of the central HR Team, building and maintaining a strong network of generalist HR support and specialist areas (Reward, ER, Case Management, Recruitment, L&D etc.)
Works in partnership with Senior Management teams to discuss, debate, inform and challenge tactical and strategic solutions to business issues
Operates across geographically dispersed business boundaries to ensure comprehensive, open and collaborative approaches to business unit issues and concerns. Ensure an inclusive and purposeful environment for business leaders to operate within, which can ultimately contribute to wider business success
Utilise multi-disciplinary models to identify, comprehend and appreciate business contribution and then manage these accordingly and consistently with the wider business
Through a detailed understanding of design and implementation of organisational change, is able to identify scope and plan opportunities for organisational improvement
Ensure the HR policy aligns the workforce with the goal of the organisation and are developed and implemented to meet legal requirements, best practice, business governance needs and organisational objectives
Facilitates co-ordinates and reinforces through Senior Management buy in, HR activities in relation to organisational change and development

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
CIPD Qualified/Degree level or equivalent
Honest & Trustworthy
Ability to influence senior individual outside of the span of control of this position
Demonstrate track record in delivery of HR service
Customer/Business focus
Experience in HRA role in heavy manufacturing industry
