HR COORDINATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in FAIRFIELD, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Ability in various software applications
- Administrative experience preferably in human resources
- Experience using a PBX system or similar multi-line phone system
- Microsoft Office computer experience

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. Announce overhead pages for employees being requested to call another extension
- Ensure that appropriate level of safety briefing is given approved visitors before departing reception area with their escorts.
- Emergency phone, reports and radio dispatch for site emergencies. Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and fire departments as required.
- Provide support to Human Resources department in clerical and administrative areas. May prepare reports, reconcile benefit billings and facilitate employee changes. May perform other human resources related duties as assigned.
- Process confidential personnel actions, research information, make corrections where necessary, prepare documents, obtain signatures, track routing and enter into HRIS system accurately and on a timely basis.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memoranda, reports and related business documents

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Three years related administrative experience, preferably in human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Office Machines experience including copiers, fax machines, and postage meter
- Experience using a PBX system or similar multi-line telephone system
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Microsoft Office computer experience including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Telephone etiquette skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
