HR Administrator - 3 Month Temporary Contract - Immediate Start

We are recruiting for one of the nation's largest commercial companies who provide an extensive range of construction services including construction management, general contracting, design and build and preconstruction.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive HR Administrator to join our team in Human Resources in Edinburgh, on a 3 month contract. As the successful candidate you will be key support to the HR Business Partner within the Scottish Region of the business for all administrative duties

Key Requirements

- management of HR Admin or payroll escalations by liaising with employees/HRBP on issues and agreeing resolution/timescale
- monitor number and type of escalations from the business and feedback key themes/issue
- review Organisational Design charts with HRBP/Delivery Units
- seek clarifications from business on updates/changes
- prepare Organisational Design change forms
- liaise with HR Analyst to resolve OD queries
- assist with job spec creation where appropriate (for new roles)
- manage requests for Management Information with HRSS as required
- assist in preparation of BB Regional Scotland monthly reports
- data verification and cleansing as and when required
- be a point of contact for HR related queries on R12 from employee and managers by signposting individuals to appropriate help channels
- work with Implementation Manager to ensure Training Needs Analysis is up to date and on target
- admin support to HRBP as required eg preparation of recruitment, payroll forms, ad hoc letters
- deal with general queries from employees and signposting them to HRSS, HR Plus, L&D team


- experience in previous HR role either in admin or advisory capacity
- degree or other qualification in Human Resource Management would be advantageous
- self starter, able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- good administration skills with high level of attention to detail
- confident communicator, both written and verbal
- good skills in Microsoft Office including manipulating data in excel
