HR Consultant - Casework

A great opportunity for an experienced HR professional used to operating at a senior level within the NHS.

Due to a secondment of the current HR Director and the Deputy operating at maximum capacity; an individual with gravitas and credibility is required to take ownership for several complex cases relating to doctors and consultants.

A particular area of the organisation has suffered from a number of recent claims amongst the team members and the impact is starting to affect their 'day job'.

It is important that these cases are investigated and managed ASAP to prevent any impact to the work these individuals do and ultimately patient care.

We are ideally looking for a Deputy/Director level HR professional with the gravitas and credibility to engage with the consultants and the Medical Director, investigate the cases and any underlying causes and produce recommendations as to the best course of action.

This role is flexible can be performed on a 3 day per week basis or a full 5 days per week.

Skills/experience required:
. Previous experience performing in senior HR roles
. NHS industry experience
. Sound knowledge of Doctor/Consultant terms & conditions
. Demonstrable experience managing complex casework

Further work could result from these recommendations as well as additional work due to the lack of resource at this level in the HR function currently.
