HR BUSINESS PARTNER - PAY & REWARD
6 months - IMMEDIATE START - £300 A DAY
HERTFORDSHIRE - LOCAL GOVERNMENT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Business partner - Pay & Reward to join a local authority to work as a member of the Implementation Team and provide professional HR & Job Evaluation support to the implementation process for the Council's new pay and reward framework.
Duties will include

Work closely with the Pay & Reward Project Manager to actively support the Single Status process with the Trade Unions, managers and employees
Manage job evaluation appeals process in respect of the implementation of the new pay and reward framework, providing consistent HR and Job Evaluation advice at appeal hearings
Conduct job evaluation for new posts, or posts that require re-grading
Support the Pay and Reward Project Manager to review the Council's current arrangements for additional allowances
Deliver the project plan to implement the new pay and reward framework through supporting the development and detailing of policy and an appropriate governance framework in relation to pay and reward policies
Undertake additional HR duties relating to the implementation of the new pay and reward framework in respect of staff, TUPE and Employee Relations

The successful candidate must have previous Job Evaluation and Reward Experience and use of the NJC Job Evaluation scheme and conducting Pay and grading appeals is desirable.
