The HR Operations team plays a key role in ensuring all Betfair employees receive an efficient, professional and best-in-class service. ROLE SUMMARY

The HR Operations Partner plays a vital role in supporting the business and wider HR teams by acting as the first point of contact for all HR customers and acting as the ambassador with promoting and delivering a great HR experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HR PROCESSES

- Manage the start-to-end processes for all core HR services within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) throughout the employee career-cycle.
- Deliver services (both transactional and support) to internal customers within an acceptable level of time and to a high level of standard.
- Aim to constantly improve service delivery with excellent customer service by identifying challenges and recommending opportunities for improvements to the Senior HR Support Partner.
- Providing support and guidance to managers and employees within the scope of Policy Guidelines or Process with identifying the next steps and escalating (where appropriate) to the appropriate person or team in HR.
- Ensure identified ER issues are escalated to the appropriate HR Business Partner.
- Have primary responsibility for managing the HR Operations filing system (electronic and paper based)
- On a day to day basis assess and share the work coming into the HR Operations team to deliver this within the agreed SLA .

HR SERVICE

- As part of the HR Operations Team provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers including 3rd parties that support the HR processes.
- Monitor, manage and turnaround all queries in the centralised HR mailbox with the agreed SLA.
- Provide professional and high quality advice to all HR queries and direct employees to the correct channels to access HR information.
- Work with the Senior HR Support Partner and HR Operations Manager, to continually improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness on the level of service provided via use of technology and internal processes.
- To become a SAP expert/Super User with responsibility for training others in how to use SAP; leading or participating in project work such as design, testing, training, roll-out and support.
- Use the reporting functionalities within SAP to produce essential and value-add HR reports to drive improved data integrity for the SAP system and meet HR and business needs.
- In relation to performance, metrics and measures, where the HR Operations team is not hitting the required service level agreement identify why and how and make recommendations to the Senior HR Support Partner on how to ensure a timely improvement.

HR PROJECTS

- On an ad-hoc basis support HR projects as-and-when required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- HR Degree qualified or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills - can communicate effectively and build effective relationships
- A high degree of integrity, confidentiality and commitment
- Advanced user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and the Internet
- Able to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines and work without supervision to meet customer needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Delivery and quality focused
- Good time management

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Previous experience of working in an HR or administrative department
- Part CIPD qualified.
- Experience with using SAP in HR.

Note: This role may suit someone who is looking to start a career in HR but has not yet commenced their formal training or acquired the necessary HR experience.
