An Administrator is required to provide administrative support to the HR Teams across all aspects of the HR function. We are looking for an individual to deliver a proactive, effective and efficient HR service across the business units. Must be available to start immediately. Must be able to pass a baseline security check.
KEY SKILL:
- Experience of operational, day to day HR activities, at an administration level.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Mathematics and English)
- CPP qualifications or the desire to work towards gaining this qualification or equivalent would be beneficial.
- Previous HR/Payroll/Recruitment administration experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

- Actively observe the confidential and sensitive nature of issues and data handled within the HR function
- Undertake analysis of risk using accurate information to inform HR and Line leaders
- Exhibit a personal commitment to the Company's health, safety and environmental procedures, ensuring they are implemented and respected at all times
- Hold and maintain a Security Clearance required by the Authority
- Hold a current UK Driving licence
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Responsible for employee administration; including new starters, leavers, SQEP and ensuring all information is completed accurately.
- Accurately maintaining the HR system; including employee updates and absence reporting.
- To assist in the management and maintenance of security clearances and DBS application to ensure that the Company complies with its contractual obligations with the agreed timelines.
- To provide correct and timely advice to managers and employees acting as the front line for queries on subjects such as payroll, holiday and basic policy questions.
- Collate the monthly payroll amendments data, including overtime, salary changes, new starters and leavers. Ensure all data is accurately entered and processed within the deadlines for monthly payroll.
- Produce weekly absence reports and support HR Advisors with Occupational Health referrals.
- Update and maintain the headcount, absence, turnover and retention reports.
- Responsible for the Milestone tracker, including producing and issuing letters as required.
- Responsible for the maintenance of all personnel files and the filing of documents within the HR department in accordance with legislation and data assurance frameworks.
- To assist in the co-ordination of the annual pay review, bonus scheme, appraisal and performance management review administration - producing letters and documentation where required.
