HR Administrator - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Based - Hatfield

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR Administrator to join Computacenter on a 6 month fixed term contract, based at their head office in Hatfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a proactive administrative support service and ad hoc project work, following established processes and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Collate, assimilate, generate and process administration relating to:
- Offers, new starters, changes to terms and conditions and internal transfers
- Leavers and terminations
- TUPE transfers
- References including mortgages, ex employees etc
- Maintain and update employee records - manual and electronic
- Generate reports using the HR SAP System
- Dealing with enquiries that come through from the HR Service Centre
- Fixed Term Contracts - generating and monitoring
- Liaise with other HR Team members to promote and deliver HR administration
- Liaise with other departments, managers of all levels and HR team members directly as the first point of contact for the HR Service Centre
- Ad hoc project work

Key Requirements

- Knowledge and experience of working in an HR department or solid administration skills
- Experience in HR Administration
- Experience of working within a fast paced, high volume environment
- Good understanding of MS Office packages
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise own work
- Ability to apply initiative to resolve non-standard procedures
- Good numerical skills
- Part or fully CIPD qualified or equivalent
