HPC Performance Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Code modernization with MPI and openMP
-Application Management of the HPC system (based on Intel Zeon Architecture)

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Advanced knowledge in C/C++ and Fortran
-Ability of parallel programming with MPI and OpenMP, special emphasis is placed on new language features such as one-way communication with MPI and simd pragmas with OpenMP
-Extensive experience in the use of HPC systems
-Knowledge of current Intel Xeon processors and their performance characteristics
-Vectorization on Intel Xeon architectures with AVX, AVX-512 with pragmas and/or intrinsics
-Performance optimization of parallel applications
-Experience with some of the applications co-developed at the HLRN is also welcome, these are: PALM, FESOM2, BQCD, HEOM, Nyx
-German language skills are advantageous but NOT mandatory
