We are looking for a Housing Management Worker to work on a contract for a Housing association based in Basingstoke.

The organisation are a nationwide provider of both general needs social, and supported housing and manage a number of schemes and properties in Basingstoke.

The role is to ensure that the organisations properties and their surrounding environments are safe and secure to enable strong communities and neighbourhoods. You will ensure that the properties are maximised for occupancy through effectively managing the number of void properties, co-ordinating maintenance and enforcing tenancy conditions.

Main Responsibilities include:

> Ensure rent sand service charge income is collected effectively and in a timely manner.
> Visit properties to ensure they are being maintained to a suitable level.
> Complete routine safety checks, monitor properties for damage and arrange repairs where necessary.
> Ensure void properties are turned around in a timely manner and are properly provisioned for new tenants.

The role is full time working Monday - Friday on an initial 6 month agency contract. Applicants will have a background in supported/social housing or property management as well as excellent customer service, IT and organisational skills. You will need to be a vehicle owner as this role requires travel within the working area.
