The Mere Resort is actively seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to assist with the day to day running of thier busy housekeeping team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor you may be responsible for room checks, rota planning, stock control and daily audits and task lists. Working within a strong and fully dedicated team of 15 Housekeepers you will play an important role in ensuring the effectiveness and smooth running of our Housekeeping & Public Areas department.
The role
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene practices in all accommodation and public areas in line with the departmental SOPs.
* To regularly monitor quality and standards of service and assess shortfalls of success, implementing remedial actions required.
* Check bedrooms on a regular basis to ensure standards are met.
* Assist the Housekeeping Manager with lost property and in their absence.
* To assist the Housekeeping Manager with training and matrixes.
* Maintain stock storage and ensure the linen room is kept tidy and organised at all times.
The ideal candidate
* A keen eye for detail
* Previous experience as a cleaner/Housekeeper is essential
* Previous experience in a supervisor role is desirable
