TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Tier II Helpdesk Experience
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Provide advanced operations 2nd level technical support to centers
- Problem assessment and classification
- Remote (phone) correction instructions and coaching to center employee
- Local correction assistance to programmer and other IS personnel
- Assist in the development and/or maintenance of policies and procedures as required
- Diagnosis and correction for non-software components
- Document each ticket with detail information as not to cause extra efforts by other support personnel
- Effectively communicates with SA, DM, RVP and DVP's
- Become well versed with common problems and inquires and be able to provide immediate solutions
- Escalate problems/issues 3rd Level Sr. Specialists when appropriate
- Prepare in advance for new releases and/or roll outs
- Able to trouble-shoot various Hardware equipment as it relates to PC and Printers and other POS equipment
- Successfully install various software as it relates to PC's and Printers setups per standardization
- Understand the basic knowledge of WAN/LAN connectivity and troubleshooting
- Understand the basic telephony layout per standards
- Understand how other hardware set-up (Panini/Camera/Micr/MG/etc) functions within the POS
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- High School education or equivalent
- College degree or equivalent and/or 1 - 3+ years related work experience with Desktop, Help Desk, Service Desk experience and/or Point of sale Software/Hardware experience.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, email and basic network knowledge and concepts
- Strong working knowledge of Desktop computers, Printers, Receipt Printers, and support.
- 2+ Years supporting a Windows environment.
- Retail and small business experience is also a plus.
