On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for a Helpdesk Agent for a 4 + month project in Switzerland.

The role is about accepting all kinds of queries and fault reports. Informing and supporting users in the event of system failures. First point of contact for simple fault clearance or forwarding fault reports and operational messages to users.
- You are responsible for
- Accepting all kinds of queries, fault reports and change requests from the users.
- Recording and classifying the required information
- Analysing fault reports and queries, correcting malfunctions (remote analysis), answering simple technical questions and triggering workarounds (first level support)
- Forwarding fault reports and questions to the second level support, supervising fault repair and keeping the error log
- Informing the user in case of errors/faults and instructing them about the correct use of technical and means and applications.
- Releasing user accounts and access rights in exceptional situations
- Forwarding fault reports and operating messages to the users

Requirements

- MAC knowledge is an advantage (MacBook, IPad, iPhone)
- Good knowledge of Active Directory
- ITIL foundation preferable
- Good knowledge in: Windows XP, Windows7, Office 2003, 2007
- Language: German/English fluent
