Provide Level 1 and 2 support for IT requests in addition to providing support for VIPs.
DUTIES:
- Working as a member of a team, provide Help Desk support services for the Departments secure and restricted networks.
- Liaise with clients and other areas of the department on technical support issues, problem resolution and assistance
- Log and process emails in job queues through an ITSM database
- Provide VIP support services for the Department's senior staff and Parliament House clients as required
- System administration of the wide-area and secure voice networks and associated facilities.
- Problem rectification and fault reporting including logging, escalation and coordination with team members and other IT support areas.
- Installation and configuration of desktop hardware and software
- Assist in the development and maintenance of polices, standards and procedures for the operation of the section
- Undertake other tasks as required or directed.
To be successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar role and have knowledge of security policies and standards within ICT.
Due to the nature of this organisation an NV1 level of clearance is mandatory and you must have a current and active NV1/Secret security clearance.
