JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day IT desktop support for internal customers (employees and contractors).
- Second level support for all desktop technology devices including desktops, laptops, cell phone, Blackberry, printing, wireless networking, etc. Provide technical support for remote access with hardware devices.
- Coordinate technical activities related to updating customer devices to assure security and compliance management.
- Assist with campus-wide projects related to campus support and IT initiatives through research, testing, project development and rollout plans.
- Lead effort to image, replace, deploy, and return leased computers. Provide general desktop support and interface with internal customers.
- Drive IT Services process improvements. Assist in creating and delivering support documentation and knowledgebase articles.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent is required.
PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Associate's degree is preferred.
- Must have strong technical skills and experience with imaging and configuring computers. Above average customer service skills is a plus.
