A fantastic opportunity is available for a HELP DESK ANALYST to join a respected Federal Government Department for a 6 month period. In this position, you will use your excellent communication skills to deliver first and limited second level technical support to system users and assist with project work as required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Experience in the provision of desktop/network support services.
- A broad range of technical skills including LOTUS NOTES (ESSENTIAL), Novell Netware, Citrix Metaframe, Windows XP/7, MS Office, VPN, Blackberry, Tablet, Next G and networks.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, achieve objectives and manage competing priorities whilst managing day to day enquiries and dealing with constant interruptions.
