Hedis Abstractor Job

HEDIS ABSTRACTOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Los Angeles, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Hedis experience
- LVN or RN license in the State of California

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will conduct validation and production checks on medical records abstracted for the HEDIS Project and supplemental medical record review
- Assures abstractions are complete and compliant with HEDIS specifications and guidelines
- Will work closely with the HEDIS manager to assure the measures required by NCQA, DHS, MRMIB and other regulatory agencies are met
- Abstract medical record information and enters data on the electronic HEDIS forms
- Will conducts audits at provider offices and will provide feedback to office staff on documentation and coding

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- LVN or RN license in the State of California (Active and in good standing)
- Quality Management Experience in a Managed Care Setting
- Ten (10) year's of HEDIS abstraction experience
- Clear understanding of Medicare Star program, ICD-9 and CPT coding
