A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a leadingUKbased Hedge Fund for a financial data analyst. This Hedge Fund is a leader in it's field for trade research and developing automated trading platforms for use in real-time algorithmic trading.

This Data Analyst will be joining a newly formed analytics team which will be part of the group's financial data group focused on analysis across a variety of data sets. They will be analyzing data provided by an array of data provider Including Bloomberg, Reuters as we as a number of other well known data vendors to assist in the effective day to day trading of the business.

This data analyst will be responsible for carrying out extensive data analysis using Excel and SQL, they will be expected to be extract concise economic and security data direct from data feeds. They will be expected to take the lead on internal projects as well as being responsible for ad hoc data issues.
