Health & Safety adviser contract 10 months Dublin Maternity cover contract. My client is global pharmaceutical firm in urgent need of an experienced Healthto ensure the organisation is compliant with health and safety legislation and corporate standards; and to reduce or prevent hazards, dangers and accidents.
Candidates should have Four/Five years relevant experience preferably in the pharmaceutical industry; A working knowledge of IPPC licensing compliance would be beneficial.
Your main duties will be to Develop, implement and maintain an effective program and ensure compliance with the requirements of Irish/EU legislation and corporate standards. You will also develop systems to ensure all employees comply with all relevant legal safety requirements. Candidates will identify training needs, organise and co-ordinate training courses and prepare training material where appropriate.
* Co-ordinate functional safety team meetings.
* Identify unsafe acts, conditions, and hazards, investigate root causes and identify corrective and preventative actions and report to management.
