Health Intelligence Lead/Consultant in Public Health

My client, a Local Authority is looking to appoint an interim Consultant to work within the Public Health Directorate leading the knowledge and information function. The post holder will work as part of the public health leadership team, the Senior Management Community of the County Council and the partnerships around the Health & Wellbeing Board.

The successful Public Health Consultant/Health Intelligence lead will contribute to all aspects of public health practice including the design of public health interventions, NHS and care services for children and adults and work on the wider determinants of health. They will be technically skilled as well as being a strong leader and change agent.

We are looking for a highly professional Consultant/Senior Leader who is able to represent the Local Authority when engaging with stakeholders and partners to identify opportunities and work together on Public Health agendas.

This is a 6 month assignment, ideally for a full time Consultant/Health Intelligence Lead but part time applicants will be considered.
