POSITION TITLE: Senior Case Installation Consultant

PURPOSE: Manage the installation of new and renewing small employer groups. Performs, analyze, and develop reporting documentation for the Case Installation Department. Provide Departmental direction and actions to take for improved performance metrics and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversees the group renewal and installation process for certain small employer groups each month.
2. Leads and manages the new sales implementation for small employer groups.
3. Identifies and communicates purchaser needs and expectations to other departments to ensure a high quality customer experience (eg pricing, membership accounting, transitioning of care, client out reach etc.)
4. Coordinates and tracks tasks and maintains installation time lines across multiple functional areas, working with department Directors and Managers. Ensures functional departments understand and comply with established processing and turn around times.
5. Provides support to account manager/sales in responding to employer questions concerns with elements of the installation process
6. Creates installation checklists, time lines, and plans. Distributes and explains documents internally (Sales) and externally (purchasers.)
7. Tracks all installation activities using a reportable database, and monitors those activities to identify potential risks or known issues. Uses database to report on group-specific activities or summary statistics.
8. Monitors and reports on installation metrics by Group, Segment, effective date, functional area and other factors. Provides area-specific feedback to functional Managers and Directors.
9. Uses QA controls to facilitate accurate and timely processing of membership information, contract validation and invoice accuracy.
10. Resolves issues during the installation and renewal processes, working directly with functional departments to ensure installations comply with standard processes guidelines.
11. Monitors the reconciliation of application, enrollment and fulfillment processes such as ID cards, Member Handbooks, EOC and Provider Directories. Resolve or escalate inconsistencies identified.
12. Coordinates Installation meetings with Sales, Account Management, Brokers and/or 26+ Employer Groups as well as internal staff.
13. Facilitates seamless hand-off to Account Management staff, supported by group-specific reporting metrics, issue review and installation processing summary.
14. Coordinates the transition of the sales closing with the group through the case installation process within HPSA business unit processes.
15. Reviews and analyzes data concerning operations and identifies trends and/or variances. Prepares reports, analyses and trending. Includes narrative summaries of important performance metrics.
16. Performs special projects, reconciliations, research, and analysis.
17. Develops and provides reports to understand issues and trends being raised by employer groups, sales and account management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -
Two years of experience in healthcare, analysis and/or customer service related experience is required
Competent knowledge of information system technologies required.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills, problem solving, independence and initiative required.
Written and oral communication and analytical skills required.
Proficient in MS Office Suite is required.
Working knowledge of analytical tools including Microsoft Excel and Access is required.
Ability to think creatively is required.

Education and/or Classes:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, a related field preferred and equivalent years of work experience will be sufficient.

License, Certification and/or Designation:
Appropriate Health Insurance license in applicable jurisdiction (s) preferred or within 120 days of hire date preferred.
