Health Economist in Leeds for Government Sector Organization

ROLE: HEALTH ECONOMIST

LOCATION: LEEDS

DURATION: 3+ Months Initially with possible extension

ROLESparticularly in identifying, classifying and valuing benefits.
- Be an experienced practitioner in the development of public sector business cases aligning to HMT's Green Book.
- Experience of developing benefits models that meet the requirements of the National Audit Office, the Department of Health, the Cabinet Office and HMT.
- Able not only to work closely with senior stakeholders such as national delivery, finance and commercial directors, Senior Responsible Owner, directors of NHS Trusts and suppliers but also to maintain independence and objectivity when carrying out reviews and assurance activities.
- Be capable of representing the review outputs concisely and effectively.
- Able to travel (with occasional overnight stays) throughout England.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

- Have knowledge/experience of the LSP and SLCS programmes and the systems implemented.
- Have experience of working with the Health and Social Care Information Centre and the Department of Health.
