HEALTH CARE RECRUITER

DURATION: 3-month contract (W2)

LOCATION: Santa Clara, CA (must be on-site)

JOB NUMBER: 56728

CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

SIZE OF TEAM: 10

STAGE OF PROJECT: Recruit for old and new reqs

SUPERVISION: Responsible for supervision of Recruitment Coordinator II supporting service line

TRAVEL: 15 miles of travel between Santa Clara and San Jose hospitals, once or twice a week. Travel will not be reimbursed.

- Recruiter for open RN and other job categories as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Responsible for delivering effective, proactive and responsive recruitment/workforce management consultative services (to include workforce planning, career services, retention strategies, recruitment and diversity) to hiring managers, which result in the best match, of the most qualified candidates for assigned specialty positions (licensed technical/professional, management/exempt, business/finance).
- Performs critical role in delivery, education and compliance for organization wide in-placement and retention.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field OR 4 years' experience in a directly-related field
- Minimum 5 years' recruitment experience - preferably in health care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to juggle them successfully

- Able to quickly build relationships and establish trust with leaders, hiring managers, colleagues and candidates
- Broad general knowledge of HR concepts, and processes and their interdependencies

- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment processes (candidate sourcing, resume evaluation, candidate assessment and interview, and matching position to best candidate background)
- Demonstrated knowledge of governmental regulations, court decisions and professional standards and practices related to EEO/AA, legalities and ethics of recruitment, and job analysis
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to meet the demands of the diverse and changing needs of the assigned specialty areas
- Strong customer focus required
- Demonstrated critical thinking, flexibility and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated coordination, organization and project management skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Demonstrated understanding of branding and image
