Head of Retail Strategy

HEAD OF RETAIL STRATEGY - RETAIL BANKING - LONDON - 9 MONTHS+

A major financial service organisation is looking to employ a Head of Retail Strategy to work in their London office.

All candidates must come from a strategy background within a consultancy.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading strategy projects for senior executives
- A first rate understanding of UK banking markets, competitors and strategic challenges
- A first rate understanding of strategic management frameworks, tools, processes and techniques with an ability to bring best practise approaches to Lloyds Banking Group where appropriate
- A clear track record of developing team members and realising the potential of colleagues
- Demonstrated ability in strategic analysis, financial modelling, valuation techniques, including resourcefulness in sourcing and validating data
- Demonstrated ability in strategic problem solving, generating hypotheses, problem structuring and generating robust conclusions
- Ability to quickly grasp and apply complex technical concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication, in particular experience of producing written outputs for a senior audience
- Ability to work at pace in a pressured environment
- Ability to manage own workload with multiple priorities
- Excellent organisation and project management skills
- Ability to create a strong network within the bank, working with colleagues at all levels of seniority

CONSULTANCY BACKGROUND IS ESSENTIAL WITH CANDIDATES HAVING PREFERABLY GAINED THEIR EXPERIENCE WITHIN RETAIL BANKING

LOCATION: Central London
DURATION: 6 months +
RATE: £650+ per day
